Build clarity, fluency, and confidence through applied learning in Mauritius.
English in Practice is a nine-week English development program designed for B1-level learners who want to strengthen their English for academic study and professional communication.
Delivered as a blended experience, the program combines in-person learning at the Beau Plan campus with structured online components and guided self-work. Across the program, learners build accuracy, fluency, and confidence through consistent instruction, applied practice, and feedback.
The curriculum develops listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with focused support for grammar, vocabulary, and linguistic precision. Learners progress through two levels — Fundamentals and Core — with a clear pathway toward targeted progression from B1 toward B2.
Together, the two levels provide nine weeks of progressive English development.
This level builds grammatical accuracy and sentence-level clarity.
Accuracy replaces hesitation. Confusion becomes clarity.
Fundamentals strengthens the technical foundations of English so learners stop guessing and start knowing. Grammar is no longer instinctive and uncertain. It becomes deliberate and reliable.
By the end of Fundamentals, learners write with fewer errors, read with sharper understanding, and speak with greater assurance.
This level strengthens fluency, coherence, and applied communication skills.
Ideas sharpen. Arguments strengthen. Confidence holds.
Core moves beyond correctness into reasoning and persuasion. Learners analyse competing viewpoints, evaluate credibility, and defend positions with ease and evidence.
By the end of Core, learners do not just participate in discussion. They lead it.

Open to learners based in Mauritius.
English is the language of instruction across many universities and the operating language of key industries in Mauritius, including finance, technology, and international business. Strong command of English is therefore not optional for learners seeking academic progression or professional advancement.
English in Practice is designed for individuals who require structured, measurable improvement rather than informal exposure. The program combines grammatical precision with analytical reading, structured writing, and professional communication skills.
Over nine weeks, learners strengthen control across all four language skills. They learn to analyse texts accurately, construct evidence-based arguments, write with clarity and coherence, and speak with organised reasoning.
The result is practical readiness for English-medium study and for professional environments where accuracy, structure, and credibility matter.
English is your entry point to the world stage.
